Members of 13th Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Beijing Committee arrived for the 1st Session of the 13th CPPCC Beijing Committee from 8:30 on January 21, 2018 as the convention will officially open on the afternoon of January 22, 2018.
The 13th CPPCC Beijing Committee consists of 759 members in 32 sectors, including 327 re-elected members, accounting for 43.1 percent, and newly-elected members, accounting for more than half. Among them, 457 members are not members of Communist Party of China, accounting for more than 60 percent, and 590 members are under 55 years old, accounting for nearly 80 percent.
