As of 12:00 on January 25, a total of 1,032 proposals had been submitted by members of the First Session of the 13th Beijing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), a political advisory body, Beijing Daily reported on Monday.
The 1,032 proposals were proposed by 700 political advisors, about 92.23 percent of the total members.
Among the 1,032 proposals, 887 proposals have been put on record, including 55 proposed by Hong Kong and Macau members and 56 collective proposals which consisted of 18 proposals from the democratic parties and the association of industry and commerce, six proposals from people's organizations, 24 proposals of different circles and eight proposals of special committees.
These proposals involves many areas related to economic and social development, among which 155 proposals are related to economy and technology, 336 concerning urban and rural construction and management, 294 proposals concerning public welfare development and 158 proposals concerning social and legal construction.
All of those proposals will be assigned to relevant departments after the conclusion of the session.
