BMPC gets 135 bills on 4 aspects

The bill review committee said on January 29, as of the deadline for submitting bills, deputies to the First Session of the 15th Beijing Municipal People’s Congress(BMPC) had filed 135 bills to the congress, Beijing Daily reported on January 30, 2018.

Among the 135 bills, 19 bills were proposed by delegations and the others were jointly filed by ten or more deputies.

Specifically speaking, 35 bills of the total cover financial and economic fields, 26 concerns education, science and technology, culture, health and sports sectors, 24 on urban construction and management, 23 on internal and judicial affairs, two on legislative affairs as well as one on ethnic, religious and overseas Chinese affairs.

Based on comprehensive analysis, those bills mainly focus on four aspects as follows: implementing rural vitalization strategy, advancing the construction of national cultural center, enhancing preschool education and improving living environment.
