The opening ceremony of the forth session of the 12th Beijing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) kicked off at 3:00 pm Jan 20 in Beijing. The session is scheduled to be held from Jan 20 to 25, spanning five and a half days this year.
Ji Lin, chairman of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the CPPCC delivered working report during the ceremony.
In the following days, five meetings will respectively see the discussions on the supply side reform, the scientific adjustment of population, the improvement of the capital’s enchantment, the perfection of city management system and the environmental protection.
