Wang Lianjie, political adviser and director of Beijing IPR Protection Center suggested idly patents of a university can be licensed for free to its science park in a bid to support students to start up a business.
He said based on certain rate, revenues of the startup can be shared with the college. Labs and testing platforms can be accessed for free for enrolling students and entrepreneur graduates within two years
Wang expressed cooperation among universities’ science parks is also a mutual benefit for both schools and students.
