1,023 proposals submitted during the 5th Session of 12th CPPCC Beijing Committee

The Fifth Session of 12th Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Beijing Committee closed on the afternoon of January 17, 2017.

During the session, a total of 1,023 proposals have been submitted, 967 have been put on record, and 30 have been transferred to the relevant departments for reference, according to the report released at the closing ceremony of the session.

The proposals cover all areas in the capital’s economic and social development, including 159 proposals related to economy and technology, 402 proposals concerning urban and rural construction and management, 269 proposals concerning public welfare development, and 193 proposals concerning social and legal construction.
