Ji Lin, Chairman of the Beijing Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), attended a symposium presented by the members of the CPPCC Beijing Committee from Hong Kong and Macao, consultants from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan as well as overseas Chinese consultants on the afternoon of January 17, 2019.
Totally 17 CPPCC members and consultants, including Hong Mingji, Lu Wei and Min Lihua, made suggestions on how to tell good Chinese stories, strengthen the cooperation with international sister cities and enhance the attractiveness of international high-end talents.
Ji Lin expressed that CPPCC members and consultants have played an important role and made positive contributions to promoting the high-quality development of the capital, maintaining long-term prosperity and stability of Hong Kong and Macao and promoting the process of the peaceful reunification of the motherland.
He hoped that CPPCC members and consultants will continue to enlarge the “circle of friends” and tell good “Beijing stories”, contribute to the promotion of city management and make efforts to build Beijing into a world-class harmonious and livable capital.
