The Second Session of the 15th Beijing Municipal People’s Congress concluded on the morning of January 20.
During the session, 151 proposals were submitted, 12 of which were from delegations and 139 were jointly submitted by no less than 10 deputies.
Among the proposals, 39 belong to fields of education, technology, culture, health and sports; 35 are city development and management; 28 fall into the category of finance and economy; 25 are related to internal affairs and judiciary; 19 are agricultural; four concern affairs of religion, nationals living abroad and foreign affairs.
Reviewed by the Proposal Reviewing Committee, 44 proposals were decided by the session’s presidium to be handled by the Municipal People’s Government. They consist of 12 proposals of renovating village , 11 for improving senior service, 14 for enhancing first aid ability and seven for garbage classification.
